Reflection

Sculpture byKate Raudenbush Photo byLauren Silberman 2.jpg

More than a showing of art “Reflection” is an experiential exhibition that invites you, the viewer, to step into the sculpture. Guests are invited, one at a time, to have a moment of reflection within the dazzlingly oversized sculpture “Stadium of Self”. The exhibition continues on the second floor of the gallery featuring the recently completed series “Rhizo Lux”.

Kate Raudenbush references history, mythology, geometry and science to inform the narrative of her work. She utilizes welded laser-cut steel. Mirror and light to shape her large- scale, climbable expressions of sacred space.

The pieces seem both alive and ancient with a constant visceral invitation for the viewer to touch, to physically explore. In this way, the artwork is not just an object ti behold, but also an experience to be lived.

The exhibition continues this weekend,

Saturday & Sunday | 11am - 6pm

The SeeMe Exhibition Space

26-19 Jackson Ave.
