“Furious 8” and “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequels Gets 2017 Release

After the huge success of Furious 7, Universal is moving on with the eight installment. The news was revealed during the studio's CinemaCon presentation.
Vin Diesel, star of the franchise said “We're going to make the best movie you've ever seen”. Universal has been scheduled it for April 14, 2017.
The seventh installment of the franchise has already broken box office records worldwide, with $1.1 billion globally, so far.
Also Universal announced on Thursday that the Fifty Shades of Grey sequels will hit theaters in February 10, 2017 and February 9, 2018, respectively.
Niall Leonard, an author and screenwriter, husband of the trilogy author E.L. James will write the script for the second film.
The first sequel of Fifty Shades of Grey earned $568.8 million worldwide.
